These Terms & Conditions (the “Terms”) govern your use of the Alpen Dorf Pension website, reservation channels, and on-property services. By booking a stay, purchasing services, or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Guests must be at least 21 years of age to register as a guest. The individual making the reservation is responsible for the conduct of all guests in their party and for ensuring compliance with these Terms.
A deposit equal to one night’s Room & Tax is due at the time of booking to guarantee your reservation. A valid Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover credit card is required. The remaining balance will be charged to the card on file prior to or at check-in.
Certain rates, seasons, room types, holidays, festivals, or promotional offers may require additional advance payment, larger deposits, or full prepayment, which will be disclosed at the time of booking.
Check-in time is after 4:00 PM. Check-out time is 11:00 AM. Early check-in or late check-out requests are subject to availability and may incur additional fees.
The full remaining balance of your stay will be authorized or charged to the credit card on file approximately 72 hours prior to check-in. For reservations made within 72 hours of arrival, the full amount may be charged at the time of booking or upon arrival.
Additional charges incurred during your stay – including damages, policy violations, or extra services – may be applied to the card on file after check-out.
All rates are per room, per night, and exclude applicable taxes and fees unless otherwise stated. Taxes and fees are subject to change in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
Standard Rate (RACK) Cancellation Policy:
A deposit equal to one night’s Room & Tax is due at the time of booking. Cancellations made 14 days or more before the arrival date will receive a full refund of the deposit. Cancellations made inside of 14 days and prior to 3 days of the arrival date will forfeit the one-night deposit. Cancellations made 3 days or less before arrival, or in the case of a no-show, will be charged the full amount of the reservation.
Non-Refundable Rate:
Non-refundable reservations require 100% payment at the time of booking. There is no refundable cancellation window for this rate. Non-refundable rates offer a discounted price in exchange for this commitment.
Holiday & Festival Rate (Village of Lights, Nov 26 – Jan 19):
A deposit equal to 50% of the total stay is due at the time of booking. Cancellations made more than 30 days prior to the arrival date will receive a full refund. Cancellations made inside 30 days of the arrival date will forfeit the 50% deposit. Cancellations made inside 72 hours of the arrival date will be charged the full amount of the reservation.
General Terms:
Cancellation policies vary by rate plan, season, room type, holiday, festival, or promotional offer. The applicable cancellation policy for your reservation is the policy displayed during the booking process at the time the reservation is made and confirmed in your reservation confirmation email.
By completing a reservation, you acknowledge and agree to the cancellation terms associated with the selected rate plan. Failure to cancel in accordance with the applicable cancellation policy may result in charges up to and including the full value of the reservation.
No-shows and early departures are subject to the cancellation policy associated with the booked rate plan and may be non-refundable. Alpen Dorf Pension reserves the right to enforce the cancellation policy associated with the booked rate plan regardless of the reason for cancellation, except where prohibited by law.
If you are unsure of your cancellation policy, please refer to your confirmation email or contact the property prior to arrival.
Alpen Dorf Pension is not responsible for travel disruptions caused by weather conditions, road closures, mountain pass closures, chain requirements, flight delays, or other transportation issues beyond our control.
Cancellations, no-shows, or early departures resulting from winter weather conditions, hazardous driving conditions, or pass closures remain subject to the cancellation policy associated with the booked rate plan, as displayed during the booking process and confirmed in the reservation confirmation.
Guests are responsible for monitoring weather forecasts, road conditions, and pass status prior to travel and for making appropriate travel arrangements.
Due to the possibility of winter weather, road closures, and mountain pass conditions, Alpen Dorf Pension strongly recommends that guests obtain travel insurance to protect against unexpected cancellations or interruptions.
Travel insurance may cover expenses related to weather-related delays, pass closures, or other unforeseen travel disruptions. Coverage varies by provider and policy, and guests are responsible for reviewing policy terms and conditions.
Common travel insurance providers include, but are not limited to, Allianz Travel, Travel Guard, Travelex, and Berkshire Hathaway Travel Protection. Alpen Dorf Pension does not sell, administer, or underwrite travel insurance and is not affiliated with any provider.
Guests are expected to conduct themselves in a manner that is respectful of other guests, staff, and the property at all times. As a small, intimate property with only three guest rooms, mutual courtesy is especially important.
Quiet hours are observed between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM. Excessive noise, disruptive behavior, or conduct that interferes with the comfort, safety, or enjoyment of other guests will not be tolerated.
Only registered guests are permitted to occupy guest rooms overnight. Maximum occupancy limits apply. Parties, gatherings, or events in guest rooms are not permitted without prior written approval from the property.
Guests are responsible for any damage to rooms, furnishings, fixtures, or other property caused by themselves or their visitors.
Tampering with smoke detectors or other safety equipment is strictly prohibited. Illegal activity, including the possession or use of illegal substances, is prohibited on the property. Weapons, hazardous materials, candles, fireworks, or open flames are not permitted.
Failure to comply with house rules, safety requirements, or staff instructions may result in removal from the property without refund and additional charges for damages or cleaning, as permitted by law.
The Alpen Dorf Pension and its entire grounds are smoke-free and pet-free environments. We are happy to recommend other accommodations in the area that permit smoking and/or allow pets.
Guests who elect to smoke or bring pets into guest rooms or interior spaces will be charged a minimum $300.00 cleaning fee, which may be applied to the credit card on file.
Guests are responsible for all charges incurred during their stay, including damages, excessive cleaning, missing items, or policy violations. We reserve the right to charge the card on file for any such amounts in accordance with applicable law.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Alpen Dorf Pension shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your stay or use of the website.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated versions will be posted on our website with a revised effective date. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
